Marisol worked with Singapore-based law firms since 2007 where she gained knowledge on cross-border M&As (both share and asset deals); company re-structuring; drafting and reviewing of commercial transaction agreements; due diligence for IPO and M&A transactions; listings of FCCBs for issuers listed in the stock exchanges of Australia, India, Taiwan, UK and USA; regulated activities (funds and leveraged foreign exchange trading); non-contentious employment and immigration matters; and general corporate and secretarial matters.

As a Philippine-qualified lawyer, she also assisted on matters involving Philippine-law practice, such as: setting-up of business operations in the Philippines (including interested locators at the Philippine Economic Zone Authority); Philippine employment laws, rules and regulations; family relations (legal separation, annulment, pre-nuptial agreements and family support); and other general corporate, tax and immigration matters of the Philippines.
